A power outage on Tuesday impacted several areas of North Carolina State University's campus.

A power outage on Tuesday was impacting several areas of North Carolina State University's campus.
Before 12:15 p.m., N.C. State sent a safety notice reading: "Power on campus is out in certain areas, impacting select phones and emergency devices."
People should call 911 in the event of an emergency.
A spokesperson for N.C. State said the outage appeared to be caused by a squirrel.
