Theodore 'Ted' Kaczynski, known as the Unabomber, has died in federal prison, according to the Bureau of Prisons. Kaczynski was found dead around 8 a.m. His cause of death wasn't immediately known.

Senior Airman Ashton L.M. Goodman, 21, of Indianapolis, died after an improvised explosive device blew up.

<b>FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.</b> — A Pope Air Force Base Airman died Tuesday near Bagram Air Field in Afghanistan, officials said Wednesday.

Senior Airman Ashton L.M. Goodman, 21, of Indianapolis, died after an improvised explosive device blew up. She was assigned to the 43rd Logistics Readiness Squadron at Pope.

Goodman is the fifth Pope Airman killed in action since Sept. 11, 2001, and the first from the 43rd Airlift Wing, officials said.
