Police have recently released a new warning regarding the robocalls that you may be receiving two or even five times a day.

Law enforcement said that by indicating that you would like to be on a 'do not call list' you are confirming that you have a working number.

Robocallers will then know that they have called a working number and will continue to call multiple times.

If an unrecognizable number calls you, police say it is best to let the call go to voicemail.

There are also apps available that trick robocallers into thinking you don't exist.
