Police: Traffic stop leads to car chase through Wake Forest
Wake Forest police are searching for a suspect Wednesday morning who led them on a car chase overnight.

WAKE FOREST, N.C. — Wake Forest police on Wednesday morning are searching for a suspect who led officers on a car chase overnight.
The chase began as a traffic stop around 1:45 a.m., according to police, and it ended on Capital Boulevard near the exit for N.C. Highway 98. A sedan with its front tires blown out was at the scene, facing the wrong way in the northbound lanes.
Police said there were no injures.
