Police: Teen Robbed Woman in Wheelchair
A Raleigh teen was facing charges Thursday for robbing a disabled woman in a wheelchair.
Posted — UpdatedRALEIGH, N.C. — A Raleigh teen was facing charges Thursday for robbing a disabled woman in a wheelchair.
Officials said Phillip Gervin-Brimage, 18, threatened to shoot the woman when she didn't immediately hand over her money. He then tried to drag her from her wheelchair.
The victim said it happened after she left a store in downtown Raleigh. Police said the suspect got away with $21, but was later caught. He was being held at the Wake County Jail.
