Police surround north Raleigh home
An incident originally believed to involve a barricaded person is over, officials said Tuesday.

RALEIGH, N.C. — An incident originally believed to involve a barricaded person is over, officials said Tuesday.
Late Monday night, nearly a dozen police cars were at the scene on Peppermill Drive, off of Interstate 540.
An ambulance was also seen on standby at the scene.
Police told WRAL News that traffic was being rerouted away from the scene. WRAL News was later told the situation was not a barricade situation at all.
WRAL News is working to learn more information about the incident.
