2 injured, 1 critically, after shooting in Goldsboro

The Goldsboro Police Department responded to a shooting early Sunday morning that left two people injured.

GOLDSBORO, N.C. — The Goldsboro Police Department responded to a shooting early Sunday morning that left two people injured.

At 12:47 a.m., Goldsboro police said officers responded to a shooting that occurred in the 700 block of N. George Street.

Once on scene, officers found a 42-year-old Felicia Davis and a 34-year-old Gregory McDuffie were found suffering from gunshot wounds.

Both were transported to Wayne UNC Health Care by EMS. 

McDuffie was treated at Wayne UNC Health Care and was later discharged.

Davis was transferred to Vidant Medical Center in Greenville. Police said her last known condition was critical.

The circumstances of this shooting reamain unknown.
