DURHAM, N.C. — Several North Carolina Central University students were robbed at gunpoint Monday evening while in their dorm room, according to school police.

Two suspects walked into Richmond Hall around 6:30 p.m. and robbed "several students" at gunpoint, according to a crime alert posted to the university police's Twitter page. The suspects stole personal property from the room.

Police said the suspects were last seen leaving the building and heading toward the track field.
