Suspect in Fayetteville stabbing, robbery arrested
Fayetteville police said Tuesday that Williams was arrested without incident and was being held in the Cumberland County jail on a $325,000 bond.

Police identified the man accused of stabbing an employee at a convenience store in Fayetteville on Sunday morning.
Officers with the Fayetteville Police Department responded to the BP Family Fare at 5600 Yadkin Road around 7:15 a.m. A 42-year-old clerk was stabbed in the chest and arm and was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
Her manager said it was only her second day on the job.
Police identified Julius Williams, 59, of Rock Canyon Drive, as the suspect. He has been charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and attempted first-degree murder.
Authorities also connected Williams with two earlier robberies: One on Jan. 9 at Coffee Scene, on Morganton Road, and another on Jan. 11 at a Hardee's on Morganton Road.
Police described Williams on Sunday morning as wearing a gray hoodie, blue jeans and a gray T-shirt as a mask. He appeared to have cut his left hand during the robbery.
Williams is considered armed and dangerous, police said. Authorities urged anyone with information about his whereabouts to call 911 immediately.
