Police seek to ID man in Fayetteville bank robbery
The robbery happened just before 3 p.m. at the bank located at 4924 Morganton Road. The robber left the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Police are searching for the man who robbed a Wachovia bank in Fayetteville Tuesday afternoon.
The robbery happened just before 3 p.m. at the bank at 4924 Morganton Road. The robber left the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
The robber is described as a slightly chubby black man in his mid to late 30s, 6 feet tall. He was wearing a white button-up shirt, jean shorts, black shoes and a do-rag.
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call police at 910-433-1856 or Crime Stoppers at 910-483-8477.
