Police seek suspect in Fayetteville shooting

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Police are looking for a man wanted on charges of attempted first-degree murder in the shooting of a Fayetteville man.

Calvin Wayne Locklear, 19, is accused in the Oct. 24 shooting of Rodriguez Harris, 20, who was found lying in the roadway at 5109 Sequoia Drive with a gunshot wound to the head. Harris was in critical condition Tuesday at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill.

Locklear, also know as "50-Cal," is a Native American who stands approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs about 170 pounds.

Authorities say Locklear, also wanted for charges of common law robbery, is considered armed and dangerous. Police believe he frequents the Massey Hill area.
