— Durham police asked for the public's help Tuesday to find a suspect in an Oct. 25 drive-by shooting on Brye Street.

Kevin Douglas Rowland, 33, of Hart Street, is wanted on one count of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and one count of felony conspiracy, police said.  He is known to frequent the 1800 block of Cheek Road.

Police say Rowland and another man, James Dramone Houston, fired shots from inside a car last Thursday afternoon, hitting a parked vehicle and a house. It wasn't clear why they were shooting or who they were targeting.

No one was injured.

Houston, 31, of East Club Boulevard, was arrested Friday and faces assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, felony conspiracy and multiple drug-related charged. He was placed in the Durham County jail under a $100,000 bond.

Anyone with information on Rowland's whereabouts is asked to call police at 919-560-4281, ext. 29124, or Crime Stoppers at 919-683-1200.
