Police search for suspect in Goldsboro bank robbery

GOLDSBORO, N.C. — Police are trying to identify the suspect in the robbery of First Citizens Bank in Goldsboro on Friday.

At about 9:30 a.m., the suspect walked into the bank, located at 200 East Ash St., demanded money and then fled on foot, police said.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned black man, between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-11, with a small build, in his mid-20s. He was last seen running north across East Ash Street.
