RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police searched two cars this week for clues to the stabbing death of a woman last weekend.

Bernice Cobb, 46, was found dead inside her home at 801 Sardis Drive late Saturday night. Another woman who was present, Rachel Beatrice Williams, 33, is charged in her death.

In search warrants returned Friday, police outlined the search of two vehicles – a Ford Escort belonging to Cobb and a Ford Expedition belonging to a witness. They collected blood evidence, fingerprints, clothing and a small amount of crack cocaine. The warrants do not indicate in which car the cocaine was found.
