Police say this man broke into five Cary businesses in six days

Police are searching for a man who broke into several businesses in two west Cary shopping centers in mid-June.

CARY, N.C. — Police are searching for a man who broke into several businesses in two west Cary shopping centers in mid-June.

Between June 11 and June 16, five businesses in the Parkside Town Commons and Alston Town Center shopping areas along N.C. Highway 55 were burglarized. An intruder gained entry through the rear doors of each, stole cash and caused minor damage at each location, police said.

Menchie’s, at 7169 O’Kelly Chapel Road, Penn Station Subs, at 5036 Arco St., Signature Nail Spa, at 7173 O’Kelly Chapel Road, Supercuts, at 7175 O’Kelly Chapel Road, and Spot Clips, at 1231 Parkside Main St., were all closed during the crimes, and no injuries were reported.

Police said security video shows a black man in his 30s with a shaved head and some facial hair inside one of the businesses.
