Police: Raleigh woman beat man with football helmet
A Raleigh woman was charged with assault Saturday after police say she beat a man in the head with a football helmet, arrest warrants state.
Posted — UpdatedRALEIGH, N.C. — A Raleigh woman was charged with assault Saturday after police say she beat a man in the head with a football helmet, arrest warrants state.
Amber Jazimin Clark, 23, of 1033 N. Raleigh Blvd., was charged with assault inflicting serious injury.
She was taken to the Wake County jail and ordered not to have any contact with the victim.
Warrants allege that the football helmet's face mask left a 1-inch cut on the victim's head.
Clark is due in court Sept. 19. Her bond amount was not released.
