A remarkable effort from police is garnering praise in New Jersey where officers pulled a man out of a burning car.

RIDGEFIELD PARK, N.J. — A remarkable effort from police is garnering praise in New Jersey where officers pulled a man out of a burning car.

Dramatic body cam video shows the officers pulling the man out of a window after they were unable to open the driver's side door to get him out.

The rescue happened around 2 a.m. in Ridgefield Park. A witness jumped in to help and moved to the other side of the car as the fire expanded.

Police got the man out from the passenger side just as flamed started to enter the cabin.
