Police: Person shot after argument in Cookout drive-thru line

Winston-Salem, N.C. — Police in Winston-Salem are investigating a drive-thru shooting.

According to WXII, the shooting occurred at the Cookout restaurant located at 3103 Peters Creek Parkway.

Officers said it happened during an argument in the drive-thru line.

One person was shot and taken to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. There is no word on their condition.
