Police: 1 dead after argument leads to shooting in Selma

A man was shot and killed during an argument on Friday night in Selma, police said.

SELMA, N.C. — A man was shot and killed during an argument on Friday night in Selma, police said.

Carlos Chrisp, 37, from Four Oaks, was shot twice in the chest at around 6 p.m., police said.

35-year-old Decarrius Tinsley of Selma NC was arrested and charged with murder Friday night

There were dozens of evidence markers at the scene near South Raiford and Jones Avenue.

Decarrius Tinsley, 35, from Selma, was arrested and charged with murder, police said.

Police said two men knew each other.

Tinsley is beind held at the Johnston County Detention Center without bond.
