BURLINGTON, N.C. — A Durham man, Hyquan Johan Parker, 26, was jailed in Alamance County Monday morning on charges of first-degree murder after a triple shooting in a Burlington apartment.

Burlington police say Parker was most recently known to be living on East Greer Street in Durham. He was being held under $3 million bond.

Police linked Parker to the deaths Sunday of Kaseem Devon Zinebalist Peterson, 27, of Oakes Circle in Burlington; Tyrone Brandon Nelson Jr., 18, of Perry Circle in Burlington; and Jason Deangelo Williams, 26, of Floyd Street in Burlington.

They did not immediately say how they identified Parker as the suspect.

In multiple 911 calls, a woman describes a man in a white T-shirt with "dreads" running from the scene.

Police said they don't believe the shootings were random. They said Parker knew at least one of the victims and had been at the apartment earlier in the day.
