RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police have confirmed no hazard was found after investigating a "potentially hazardous device" in a parking lot near Triangle Town Center on Wednesday night.

The area, on Triangle Town Boulevard, was blocked off late Wednesday, police said.

The area is near the mall’s Barnes and Noble and Dillard’s stores.

Sources told WRAL News that a man called 911 saying there was a bomb in his car.

One man said his girlfriend, an employee at a store near the Dillard’s, hasn’t been able to move her car since the investigation started.

On Thursday morning, police said no threat was found.
