Police: Man waited in line before robbing Durham bank

Durham police are searching for a man who robbed a Wells Fargo bank Thursday afternoon.

Authorities said the man entered the bank at 4709 Hope Valley Road at about 3:45 p.m. and stood in line before he demanded money and implied he had a gun.

The man fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

The man is described as being in his late 50s or 60s. He was wearing a black jacket and fled in an older model, light-colored, two-door Saturn that was driven by another person.
