Durham police on Monday identified a man killed over the weekend at a Quality Inn as David Kelly, 31.

<b>DURHAM, N.C.</b> — Durham police on Monday identified a man killed over the weekend at a Quality Inn as David Kelly, 31.

Kelly was found dead Saturday morning with an apparent stab wound at the hotel at 3710 Hillsborough Road.

Police said the homicide was the result of an altercation, but they have not identified the person or persons with whom Kelly was fighting.
