Police: Man shot multiple times in Fayetteville
A man was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center early Saturday after being shot in the 300 block of South Cool Spring Street, Fayetteville police said.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A man was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center early Saturday after being shot in the 300 block of South Cool Spring Street, Fayetteville police said.
Officers responding to a shooting call about 6 a.m. found the man with multiple gunshot wounds. His name was not released, but officials said he was in surgery at 11:45 a.m.
No arrests have been made in the ongoing investigation. Officers said more information about the case will be released as it becomes available.
