The TikTok legislation was included as part of a larger $95 billion package providing foreign aid to Ukraine and Israel and was passed 79-18. It now goes to President Joe Biden, who has backed the TikTok proposal and has said he will sign the package as soon as he gets it.

A Mebane man ran over another man in the parking lot of a Burlington bar where they had been fighting early Saturday, police said.

<b>BURLINGTON, N.C.</b> — A Mebane man ran over another man in the parking lot of a Burlington bar where they had been fighting early Saturday, police said.

Wayne Terrance Yellock, 29, and Lamar Ontario Walker, 33, of Burlington, began fighting in the Guest House, 1117 Vaughn Road, shortly before 2 a.m., police said. The fight spilled over into the parking lot, and Yellock got into a vehicle and tried to run over Walker.

Walker was flown to Duke University Hospital. Yellock was also injured and treated at Alamance Regional Hospital.

Both men were in stable condition a couple of hours after the fight.

Arrests are pending, said police, who continue to investigate the case.
