Man charged with murder in woman's death at Knights Inn in Raleigh

Police are investigating a woman's death following an EMS call from the Knights Inn on New Bern Avenue.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Police are investigating a woman's death following an EMS call from the Knights Inn on New Bern Avenue.

Around 4:45 a.m. officers with the Raleigh Police Department responded to the hotel, located at 3804 New Bern Avenue, to assist with an EMS call. At the scene, they found Nadia Natasha Brichikov, 48, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities have charged Mark Brichikov, 35, with murder in connection with the death.

Authorities believe Mark Brichikov may be driving a stolen 2002 blue Dodge Ram 2500 with North Carolina license plate ZXB-1560.
