Fayetteville police are investigating after a person was shot inside a home Wednesday night.

<b>FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.</b> — Fayetteville police are investigating after a person was shot inside a home Wednesday night.

Authorities said officers responded to a home in the 1400 block of Cobra Lane just before 8:30 p.m. and found a man with a gunshot wound.

The man, who was not identified, was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Authorities have not released any information about potential suspects or said what may have prompted the shooting.
