RALEIGH, N.C. — Police were investigating a hit-and-run in downtown Raleigh on Thursday morning.
The clerk of a Circle K gas station at 2506 South Saunders St. said an argument between five people broke out in the parking lot around 1:30 a.m.
He said the argument escalated and spilled out into the roadway before three people sped off in a car and hit one man.
The person he was with drove the man to the hospital, where he was treated for minor injuries.
Police hope surveillance video from the gas station will help them find the car and driver who hit the man.
