Handguns taken during break-in at Raleigh gun store

Raleigh police said 14 handguns were taken early Saturday during a break-in at a gun store in the 4400 block of Craftsman Drive.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police said 14 handguns were taken early Saturday during a break-in at a gun store in the 4400 block of Craftsman Drive. 

Officers responded to Eagle 1 Supply, which is near the intersection of New Hope Church and Wake Forest roads, about 2 a.m. 

Employees at the store declined to comment.

No other information about the break-in was immediately available. 

Eagle 1 Supply sells guns, ammo and also has a firing range, according to its website.

The investigation is ongoing.
