Police investigating armed robbery at Raleigh convenience store

— Police are investigating an armed robbery at a convenience store Thursday morning in Raleigh.

Authorities said two people walked into the Circle K on Tryon Road near Gorman Street around 3 a.m. and demanded money from the clerk. One of the suspects had a gun.

The suspects stuffed the money in their pockets and fled the scene, running toward apartments across the street, authorities said.

A customer and employees were in the store at the time of the robbery. Police said no one was hurt.
