Durham police are investigating after a man was shot Wednesday afternoon in Durham.

DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police are investigating after a man was shot Wednesday afternoon in Durham.
Authorities said a man was shot in the leg in the 1100 block of West Chapel Hill Street at about 3 p.m.
Police said the man’s injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.
Authorities said the shooting is not related to the shooting of an employee at a SunTrust bank at 2008 E. N.C. Highway 54 that happened at about 3:30 p.m.
