Police investigating after gunshot victim found at Raleigh gas station

Police were searching for clues after man turned up early Friday at a Raleigh police station suffering from two gunshot wounds, authorities said.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Police were searching for clues after man turned up early Friday at a Raleigh police station suffering from two gunshot wounds, authorities said.

The 33-year-old man was taken to a local hospital with what was believed to be non-life-threatening wounds.

The victim apparently drove himself to a Valero gas station, at 1830 New Bern Avenue around 4 a.m.

The man's identity was pending.

Police have not yet said if anyone has been arrested or provided a motive for the shooting.
