Shooting arrest at Durham apartment caught on camera

DURHAM, N.C. — Police on Friday were investigating a shooting at a Durham apartment complex, where a man was arrested during WRAL Brett Knese's first live shot of the morning.

The shooting was reported before 3:15 a.m. at an apartment at 901 Chalk Level Road near North Roxboro Street. The camera was rolling as a man was arrested.

Crime scene tape surrounded one downstairs apartment where officers centered their investigation. There were multiple bullet holes in a window.

Police at the scene told WRAL News the incident occurred both inside and outside the apartment.

Charges were not announced. There was no information on who was shot or their condition.
