Edwin Aguero, 41, was found lying on the sidewalk in front of the the Laundry King Laundromat in Wellon's Village Shopping Center, 1000 N. Miami Blvd. in Durham.

<b>DURHAM, N.C.</b> — Police have identified the victim of a Sunday morning homicide as Edwin Aguero, 41.

Aguero's body was found lying on the sidewalk in front of the the Laundry King Laundromat in Wellon's Village Shopping Center, 1000 N. Miami Blvd. in Durham.

Police believe that two men spotted on surveillance video outside the laundromat may be connected to the crime. Detectives have not disclosed how Aguero died.

The 12-year-old boy had been required to sleep in a tube-like tent, enclosed by a solid plastic sheet. Upon discovering that the zipper for the tent was broken, the report says, "staff needed a zip tie out of the tool bag."

According to the Sampson County Sheriff's Office, a school resource officer discovered the body of a man inside a vehicle at Hobbton Middle School athletic field. Authorities believe the man died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
