Police identify man found dead on MLK Freeway underpass in Fayetteville
Fayetteville police have identified a man who was found dead Monday afternoon on the Martin Luther King Jr. Freeway underpass near Bragg Boulevard.

Officers were dispatched to the area after receiving a suspicious activity call at 4:47 p.m. They found the body of Harvey Lee Thompson, 58.
Attempts to locate Thompson's next of kin have been unsuccessful, police said, and the public's help is requested.

Detectives with the police department’s homicide unit were investigating. No other information was released.
