Police: Goldsboro man shot, killed Tuesday

Goldsboro police are investigating the death of a man who was shot on Tuesday afternoon.

GOLDSBORO, N.C. — Goldsboro police are investigating the death of a man who was shot on Tuesday afternoon.

Officers responded to the 400 block of Seymour Drive in reference to shots fired, according to the police department. When they arrived on scene, they found Quentin Lamont Kenon, 28, of Goldsboro, suffering from gunshot wounds.

Kenon was transported to Wayne Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
