RALEIGH, N.C. — Police on Wednesday said they had found a white Lexus they believe was driven by a suspect in the homicide of a former Shaw University student, but the alleged killer remained at large.

Khaleel A. Oyeneyin, 22, is charged in the slaying of Corinnie D. Broadway, 21, inside her Larson Drive home on Saturday.

Officers found Oyeneyin's 1995 Lexus GS 300 on Pillory Place in north Raleigh on Tuesday night.

Police also said that an autopsy had confirmed that Broadway was pregnant.

Her friends said that Oyeneyin was Broadway's boyfriend and that he killed her because she had recently found out about her pregnancy.

Broadway was a student at Shaw University until last fall. Friends said she wanted to get a degree in social work.

Anyone with information that might assist in locating Oyeneyin was asked to call Raleigh police at 919-890-3555 or Crime Stoppers at 919-226-CRIME. Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards for information in felony cases, and callers do not have to identify themselves.
