RALEIGH, N.C. β€” A body was found Friday afternoon at Lake Johnson Park in Raleigh, police said.

Police were called to the park Thursday night at 7:30 p.m. after personal items were found on a trail and investigators were unable to find the person to whom they belong.

Several access points to the park were closed during the search.

Foul play wasn't suspected, police said, but they were unsure if the missing person went into the lake and drowned.

Divers were called to the lake early Friday to assist with the search.

The body of Ryan Wayne Hall, 22, was recovered at about 1:30 p.m., police said.

Wake County EMS, the Apex Fire Department's dive team and the Raleigh/Wake City-County Bureau of Identification assisted police with the search.
