WHAT COULD POSSIBLY BE FINER THEN FOR CAROLINE AND TO DEFEAT ITS ARCH RIVAL IN THE FINAL 4 AND HAVE THE CHAMPIONSHIP WITHIN REACH. OF COURSE, YOU KNOW WHERE MOST TO UNC STUDENTS WERE CELEBRATING AFTER THAT GAME. FRANKLIN STREET. >> I'VE BEEN A FEW PEOPLE OUT THERE AS WELL. STUDENTS POURED OUT OF BARS AND RESTAURANTS AND REALLY FROM ALL OVER WHEREVER THEY WERE WATCHING THAT GAME, THEY FLOODED INTO THE STREET. THEIR NEW THIS MORNING CHAPEL HILL'S TOWN MANAGER ESTIMATES BETWEEN 35,040 1000 PEOPLE CELEBRATED IN DOWNTOWN AFTER THAT GAME. THAT MAKES IT ONE OF THE LARGEST CELEBRATIONS AND TOWN'S HISTORY. >> AND UNFORTUNATELY, THE CELEBRATIONS DID GET A LITTLE OUT OF HAND, AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THIS VIDEO SHOT LATE LAST NIGHT BY SKY 5 FANS BUILT BONFIRES, SOMETHING THAT THEY WERE NOT SUPPOSED TO DO. AND WE SAW PEOPLE JUMPING OVER THEM CHAPEL HILL'S TOWN MANAGER MAURICE JONES SAYS PUBLIC SAFETY STAFF TREATED 10 PEOPLE FOR INJURIES. 4 OF THEM WERE TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL, ALTHOUGH NONE OF THE INJURIES WERE SERIOUS. POLICE ALSO ARRESTED A 19 YEAR-OLD MAN CHARGING HIM WITH CARRYING A CONCEALED GUN WITHOUT A PERMIT. I'm meteorologist, Kat Campbell in the wr a severe weather center here with a more in depth. Look at your weekend rain chances a lot of questions given that it's trending toward a pretty unsettled weekend. The good news I have for you is it's not a washout. A washout would mean that it would rain all day long. We're not expecting that this is going to be more in waves of rain that we see. The better rain chances are likely to come later in the day. But check in on the radar if you're about to head out into an event, I encourage you. Open up the wr weather app, check in on the dual Doppler 5000 radar before you head out and about. And because there are periods of rain, likely each day, you are going to want to have an indoor backup plan available in case that rain lines up with your outdoor plans. We finally got in some high resolution model data for Saturday. So I want to talk a little bit more about the rain timeline for Saturday, 79 the high Sunday. It's only 70 both days. We could see some storms around as we look hour by hour at our rain chances though, it's about a 30% chance Saturday morning. We should see that round move out pretty quickly though. And then later in the afternoon into the evening, that's when rain chances begin to climb again. Here's a closer look at that high resolution future cast during the day, Friday were dry as we get into Friday. Late afternoon into the evening, we could see a couple of showers and storms may even be between about nine pm and midnight that we have the best chance for rain though on Friday, as we look ahead to Saturday morning, some of that round of rain is still around early on. We should see that kind of move out. But with this warm across the area that could trigger a few showers and storms to develop pretty much all throughout the day because we have that front nearby. We should see a band of some showers move through at some point during the afternoon and evening. So try to make the most of the dry weather while you can. Here's a closer look at your playground planner for Friday. It's dry during the first part of the day. Only a 30% chance of a shower storm at two o'clock as we get toward four or 56 o'clock. That's when I think we have a better chance of an isolated storm. But keep in mind it's be pretty isolated Friday. Night is a better chance of rain and storms. And then Saturday night as well, we could see some lingering rain into Sunday. So if you are headed to the Bembe Cultural Arts Festival on Saturday, just try to get there early. The earlier you get there, the drier, it's likely to be your seven day forecast. Unsettled for the weekend. We do see quite a bit of cloud cover lingering on Monday. It's a bit cooler with highs. Only in the mid seventies. The eighties are back next week and by the middle and end of the week, we should be right back in the mid to upper eighties.
