FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Homicide detectives on Tuesday released surveillance video in hopes of identifying a group of men who may be associated with the shooting death of a 19-year-old Fayetteville man.

Ravon Detrail Jordan died Monday after being shot on the 1500 block of Grandview Drive on Sunday. More than 70 shots were fired during the incident, police said.

After the shooting, Fayetteville Police Chief Harold Medlock expressed frustration with the ongoing plague of youth crime in the area and pointed the finger at lax parenting.

The video shows a group of men standing outside a nearby convenience store after the shooting.

Anyone with information about the subjects is asked to contact Fayetteville police at 910-433-1856 or Crime Stoppers at 910-483-TIPS (8477). Tips can also be shared online or by texting a message to 274637. In the text box, type "4Tip" and then the message.
