Poe Montessori Magnet holds open house
The downtown Raleigh public school will hold another open house. The school has openings for next fall.

Poe Montessori Magnet Elementary School will host another open house for prospective students and parents at 9:30 a.m., Wednesday.
The open house will include classroom observations, an opportunity to view Poe’s Montessori program and a school tour.
Because of Wake County school's new choice plan, Poe Montessori Magnet has 20 percent more magnet seats available than in past years with openings for the 2012 – 2013 school year. The openings are mostly for the Pre-K and kindergarten classrooms.
Poe Montessori Magnet School is the only Montessori program in the Wake County Public School System and offers the only tuition-based Pre-K Montessori program in the school system.
