Poe Center offers cooking program for tweens, teens in August
Poe Center for Health Education will host quick summer cooking challenge for tweens and teens next month.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Poe Center for Health Education will host quick summer cooking challenge for tweens and teens next month.
The program runs 9 a.m. to noon, Aug. 6, at the Poe Center, 224 Sunnybrook Rd., near downtown Raleigh. It's for kids ages 11 to 17.

This fun-filled morning will include a group icebreaker, time in our one-of-a-kind educational body systems PlayWELL Park, a program inside our giant Cranium Connection brain theater, time in the GrowWELL Garden, and learning basic kitchen skills while creating a yummy recipe in the CookWELL Kitchen.
You can register online. The cost is $50.
