Playground Review: Morrisville Community Park

The playground at Morrisville Community Park isn't the place to go when it's really hot and sunny out. There's no shade at this park off Morrisville Parkway.

I was there last week as temperatures shot into the high 90s and I was pretty much the only person there.

But this will be a great place to visit as we move into cooler weather. The large playground includes a massive structure for older kids featuring (what I'm calling) a dragon. A smaller playset for toddlers and preschoolers sits right next to a good-sized sand area and some bouncy animals. And there are swings for everybody.

Restrooms sit right next to the playground. There's also a large covered picnic area, a greenway connection and ball fields.

Take a closer look at Morrisville Community Park in the video.
