Plane-Pull Raises $115K For Special Olympics
The 10th annual Plane Pull on Saturday helped raise $115,000 for Special Olympics North Carolina.
Posted — UpdatedRALEIGH, N.C. — The 10th annual Plane Pull on Saturday helped raise $115,000 for Special Olympics North Carolina.
Seventy-five teams, each consisting of five members, competed to see who could pull a 40,000 pound jet the fastest.
Central Prison Emergency Response Team from the Central Region won the event, by pulling the plane 25 feet in nine-seconds.
The event was held at Raleigh/Durham International Airport.
