To celebrate 60 years, Pizza Inn is giving away a vintage car

Pizza Inn is celebrating its 60th birthday by giving away a vintage car.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Pizza Inn is celebrating its 60th birthday by giving away a car.

To win the 1958 Ford Fairlane Skyliner, you have to be a member of Pizza Inn's rewards program. On Sept. 23, a winner will be selected randomly.

"We are proud to have served so many loyal fans and want to give back something extra special,” said Denise Pedini, executive vice president of Pizza Inn. “It’s our way of saying thank you for being a part of our family the last 60 years."

Leading up to September, the classic car will be touring across the country to specified Pizza Inn locations. The tour kicks off on May 4 in Durham and will visit other North Carolina cities, including Wilson, High Point, Goldsboro and Rocky Mount. Pizza Inn will also be gifting prizes, including free buffet visits, via social media contests throughout the year.

Pizza Inn started in 1958 when two Texas brothers opened the first restaurant in Dallas. Some Triangle Pizza Inn locations have closed in previous years. The closest locations to Raleigh include restaurants in Garner, Durham and Rocky Mount.
