Pittsboro Man Killed in Car-Pedestrian Accident

Pittsboro, N.C. — A Pittsboro man died late Saturday after a car struck him while he was walking along N.C. 87, the Highway Patrol said Sunday.
James Small, 53, died.
Troopers said they were called shortly before midnight.
No charges were being filed, they said.
