Pit plans afternoon of bbq, bluegrass

The Pit's fourth annual 'Cuegrass Festival is Saturday from noon to 6 p.m. in the warehouse district of downtown Raleigh.

The Pit is hosting its fourth annual 'Cuegrass Festival this Saturday in the warehouse district of downtown Raleigh. Expect a day of barbecue, local beer and bluegrass. 

The musical lineup for the day is Mandolin Orange, Old Habits, Delta Rae and American Aquarium.

The party is from noon to 6 p.m., and admission is $5. Proceeds go to North Carolina 4H.

Note: The 300 block of West Davie Street will be closed from Dawson to Harrington and Commerce Street from Martin to Davie from 6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. for this event. 

Who is headed to 'Cuegrass?
