A person was killed in a helicopter crash in Union County near the North Carolina/South Carolina border on Sunday.

WINGATE, N.C. — A person was killed in a helicopter crash in Union County near the North Carolina/South Carolina border on Sunday.
The crash happened along Belk Mill Road south of Wingate, North Carolina. The pilot died.
The Union County Sheriff's Office believes the pilot was crop dusting fields when the aircraft got entangled in power lines.
The pilot was the only person on board the helicopter.
