MORRISVILLE, N.C. — A Massachusetts woman was arrested at Raleigh-Durham International Airport Thursday after her rant on a flight so concerned pilots that they diverted to the airport.

Marnie Jean Kelly, 46, of Marlborough, Mass., was charged with disorderly conduct and obstruction of an aircraft takeoff. She was being held at the Wake County jail on $1,000 bond.

According to the report on her arrest, Kelly was pacing up and down the aisle of the aircraft, using profane language towards passengers and crew, attempting to access the cockpit and taking pictures of others on the plane.

The arrest report said the pilot diverted the aircraft to RDU "for the safety of crew and passengers."
