For young readers and their families, Quail Ridge Books has a couple of events coming up.
The Raleigh store will host a special storytime next week featuring North Carolina author-illustrator Jonathan D. Voss and his debut picture book, "Brave Enough for Two." It takes place at 10:30 a.m., Monday, at the bookstore in North Hills. The book is best for ages 4 and up.

Quail Ridge shares this quick synopsis: "Olive loves book-based adventures, but is she brave enough to join Hoot on some real-life adventures, too?"

Sounds super cute!

Also coming up at the store this month:

Darren Farrell will share his book "Letter Town: A Seek-and-Find Alphabet Adventure" during a special event at 6:30 p.m., June 27. Best for ages 3 and up. "Children will enjoy the rhyming tale and color illustrations, with scenes similar to Richard Scarry's busy books on every page," according to Quail Ridge's children's staff.
